One of the bloggers that I follow (via Kay the Traveler’s Wife) is a super smart engineer type farmer, carpenter, all around great person, Ed.
His latest blog was a big departure from his usual stuff. It was a music video of the classic song “Footloose” with Daryl Hall and Kenny Logins. I have been so out of the music scene that I don’t recognize these music legends but I remember their music. I remember the movie with Kevin Bacon. And of course, this song. Classic, classic, classic.
See if you can watch/listen to this without rocking!
I always love hearing from you, Aunty. I hope everything is going well on your end. I have never grafted a plant. That must be so much fun to do.
All is well, Kay. To tell the truth I am not very successful with grafting and nowadays I just buy the species of plant that I like. Gardening is so fulfilling and fun!
I’m finally getting my act together and watched that video too. I remember that song. Doesn’t it make you want to move?
WOW! I totally enjoyed that! Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome!
Thanks for the compliments which I’m not sure I deserve. One note is that the original (classic) song was all Kenny Loggins.
My favorite movie scene out of the original movie was the tractors playing chicken scene set to the song “Holding Out For a Hero.”
It was a bonus for me because the hero was on a John Deere tractor!
